PMAC) Portsmouth Music and Arts Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community music and arts school serving the seacoast. Our mission is to build community through the arts by providing all people with the opportunity to achieve their full creative potential, regardless of their age, ability, or economic status. PMAC offers music and fine arts instruction to students starting at age 5 in the form of private instruction, ensembles, art classes, adult education and more! Portsmouth Music and Arts Center is a member of the National Guild for Community Arts Education and the proud home of over 30 music and art educators in the region.
The Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra is a 65+ piece orchestra of local professionals, educators, dedicated amateurs and advanced from the greater Seacoast area. The Orchestra presents three concerts each season at The Music Hall in Portsmouth, NH.
Presenting a full range of entertainment in beautiful Prescott Park. All events, from music theater to music festivals, concerts to kids’ events, are offered free to the general public.
Bringing farmers’ markets to the Seacoast since 1977. Our farmers, fishermen, foodies and artisans grow, raise, catch and make everything at our outdoor markets. Open rain or shine, May to November.
The Music Hall is a performing arts center featuring curated entertainment from around the world in two theaters in its downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire campus – one, a landmark 1878 Victorian theater, designated an American Treasure for the Arts by the US Senate, the other the intimate Music Hall Loft around the corner, recently named “best performing arts venue” by Yankee Magazine and the recipient of the NH AIA award for design excellence.
Portsmouth Community Radio is an independent, volunteer-operated, listener-supported, non-commercial radio station dedicated to serving the Greater Portsmouth with radio programming that reflects the interests and tastes of the Seacoast community.
