Acorn Kitchen is a multipurpose, fully-liscensed community culinary rental facility for creating and packaging food products for sale, conducting hands-on cooking classes, recipe development and testing, food styling photography, webcast and television production.
A cozy coffee shop in downtown Dover. We pride ourselves on our expert baristas, great coffee, fresh pastries, and a grand array of teas. Our goal is to provide a comfortable atmosphere and incredible products from local vendors. We compost and recycle; contributing less than 20% of our waste to landfill.
Pizza’s popularity has been attributed to the fact that it is a complete family meal; protein, carbohydrates and fats. Done right it can also be healthy. At AJ’s Wood Grill Pizza our approach is just that. Create good healthy food by using the freshest ingredients available, with a commitment to sustainable agriculture, environmental responsibility and the local community we serve. We use our own organic pizza dough. We make all our sauces and dressings. We grill our crust and almost all our toppings, from our fresh produce like peppers, eggplant and onions to our chicken, salmon and shrimp. Our salads, Buffalo wings and burgers are second to none. In our wood fired grill we use cherry and apple wood as well as chemical free all natural charcoal. We have geothermal heating and cooling. Our paper and plastic products are recycled and compostable. Gluten free products, from pizza to dessert are available. Most importantly we are a neighborhood pizza restaurant that serves fresh, healthy, tasty food. We will deliver it to you or come and enjoy it with us.

My family and I opened The Candy Bar in May of 2012. We wanted to design a store that provided an experience…buying candy should be fun! We have filled our lively environment with everything from bulk gummi candy to organic fair trade chocolate. We carry many local products from NH, VT, ME and MA. Our commitment to sustainability guides us in buying products including compostable serving bowls and spoons for our ice cream, EcoMovement provides this valuable composting service to us. Customers at the candy bar will find party favors, gift baskets, holiday items, retro-candy, gourmet truffles, fudge, jelly belly and gummi treats.

Miles Smith Farm is a 36 acre farm in Loudon, New Hampshire. The 36 acres combines part of a farm owned by Miles Smith in the 1850’s and two neighboring farms. Most of the land is pasture. The cattle we raise are naturally raised “free range” and graze on the farm’s and leased pastures. Miles Smith Farm currently leases about 150 acres from land owners around the state. All of our cattle are raised in the state of New Hampshire, so our meat is truely “home grown”.
